If Jones can’t go on Sunday, backup Mike Glennon is in line to start. Jones is expected to return this season and there even remains a chance that he will be on the field against Miami.
New York also signed quarterback Jake Fromm off the Buffalo Bills’ practice squad on Tuesday. Fromm was a fifth-round selection by the Bills in the 2020 NFL Draft and has yet to see NFL action.
