The Los Angeles Lakers reportedly have interviewed former NBA head coaches Terry Stotts and Mark Jackson for their coaching vacancy.
The Lakers also have shown interest in meeting with Milwaukee Bucks assistant Darvin Ham and Toronto Raptors assistant Adrian Griffin, according to a report Friday from ESPN.
Los Angeles fired coach Frank Vogel last month after finishing 33-49 and missing the playoffs.
Stotts, 64, compiled a 402-318 record in nine seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers from 2012-21, reaching the playoffs in each of his last eight seasons.
Including earlier coaching stops with the Atlanta Hawks (2002-04) and Milwaukee Bucks (2005-07), Stotts’ overall record as an NBA head coach is 517-486.
The Athletic reported the Lakers’ interview with Jackson, the former NBA point guard who coached the Warriors from 2011-14. Now a broadcaster for ESPN/ABC, the 57-year-old Jackson had a 121-109 record with Golden State.
