Blazer5 Gaming swept Raptors Uprising 2-0 on Wednesday night to pick up their first win at the NBA 2K League’s The Turn event.
Claude “Claude” Knight had 27 points to propel Blazer5 to a 72-66 win in the first game before erupting for 31 points and 13 assists in a 79-75 victory that completed the sweep. Jamaal “Mooch” Gill averaged 19 points and 17 assists between the two contests, but it wasn’t enough to allow the Raptors to steal a game.
In a much more competitive series, 76ers GC edged DUX Infinitos 2-1. DUX Infinitos took the first game 78-73 before the Sixers evened things with a 77-59 triumph. In the decisive third game, the 76ers squeaked by to earn a 78-76 win.
