Chimera Esports, PARIVISION remain unbeaten at DreamLeague Season 25

Jordan Woodruff

Chimera Esports and PARIVISION are the early teams to beat at DreamLeague Season 25, as each improved to 2-0 with wins on Day 2 of Group Stage 2 play on Saturday.

In the day’s two other matches, Team Spirit and Team Falcons picked up their first Group Stage 2 wins to improve to 1-1.

Group Stage 2 of the $1 million Dota 2 event is a single round-robin group with eight teams facing off in best-of-three matches. Each team will play every other team once.

The top two teams from Group Stage 2 will head to the upper bracket of the playoffs, the third- and fourth-place teams will land in the lower bracket, and the remaining teams will be eliminated.

Chimera had a pretty easy time against Team Liquid, winning in 46 and 29 minutes, both on red, to sweep the contest. Artem “lorenof” Melnick of Ukraine led Chimera with 21 kills in the two maps.

PARIVISION needed a little more time against Tundra Esports, losing in 63 minutes green before pulling a reverse sweep — 56 minutes on green and 35 minutes on red — to win the match.

Russian Alan “Satanic” Gallyamov led the winners with 41 kills (including a pair of 18-kill efforts after collecting five kills in the opening map).

Spirit handed BetBoom Team its first loss in Group Stage 2, winning in 40 and 35 minutes in a sweep — playing once on red and once on green. And Falcons dropped HEROIC to 0-2 with a reverse sweep — losing in 40 minutes on red before winning in 34 minutes on green and 53 minutes on red.
