CTBC Flying Oyster, T1 and Top Esports recorded victories on Saturday to advance to the Knockout Stage at the $5 million League of Legends 2025 World Championship in Beijing.
Competing in best-of-three Round 5 matches in the Swiss Stage, CTBC Flying Oyster and T1 swept FlyQuest and KOI, respectively, while Top Esports posted a 2-1 victory to eliminate Bilibili Gaming.
CTBC Flying Oyster secured a 45-minute win on blue and a 287-minute victory on red to knock out FlyQuest.
T1 notched a 33-minute triumph on red and 41-minute win on blue to send KOI home.
Top Esports had a tougher time of it on Saturday. Bilibili Gaming posted a 28-minute win on red before Top Esports responded with a 29-minute victory on red and 36-minute triumph on blue.
Teams needed three wins to reach the Knockout Stage, while teams with three losses were eliminated.
CTBC Flying Oyster, T1 and Top Esports joined Gen.G Esports, G2 Esports, Hanwha Life, KT Rolster and Anyone’s Legend in the Knockout Stage, a single-elimination bracket starting Tuesday where all matches are best-of-five. The champion of the Nov. 9 grand final will earn $1 million, with $800,000 going to the runner-up.
