In its fifth week of competition, the League of Legends Championship of The Americas North Split 3 in Los Angeles finally sent a team home.
In the first lower bracket Round 1 match on Saturday, Disguised took down Dignitas 3-1, advancing to the lower bracket quarterfinals and dropping Dignitas into an eighth-place finish.
Disguised’s next opponent has not yet been determined, though their quarterfinal match will take place next weekend.
The LTA North 2025 Split 3 is the third Americas North League of Legends split under the LTA banner, with eight Americas North teams competing for the Americas title.
Last week, Shopify Rebellion and FlyQuest advanced to the upper bracket final after beating Cloud9 and Team Liquid, respectively. Cloud9 and Liquid dropped to this week’s lower bracket quarters, though matchups will not be set until after Sunday’s lower bracket Round 1 match between LYON and 100 Thieves.
Weeks 6-7 are also best-of-five, with the lower bracket quarters taking place next Friday and Saturday, and the upper bracket final slated for Aug. 31. The top three teams qualify for the LTA Championship, and the winner qualifies for the 2025 World Championship.
