The next ESL One Dota 2 Major begins in Berlin, Germany, on April 26 and will feature a $500,000 prize pool.
Organizers announced plans for the 18-team event on Tuesday.
Two groups of nine teams will compete in a studio environment, with the top six in each group making the playoffs.
The double-elimination playoffs (May 5-7) will take place before a live audience at the Velodrom.
“We’re super excited to welcome the world’s best Dota 2 teams to Berlin for what promises to be a spectacular Major,” said ECL FACEIT Group director of game ecosystems Shane Clarke. “… We can’t wait for the top players to enter the live stage at Velodrom and feel that phenomenal atmosphere once again.”
In addition to the prize pool, teams will compete for Dota Pro Circuit points needed to qualify for The International 12 (TI12).
