FlyQuest and LYON pulled off a pair of sweeps as Round 1 was completed Sunday of the League Championship Series 2026 Lock-In in Los Angeles.

They join Cloud9 and Disguised as the first-round winners and the participants in next weekend’s Round 2 high matches in League of Legends’ first event of 2026.

Using a Swiss style format with three rounds, the matches are best-of-three, except the last-chance tiebreaker is best-of-one. After the three rounds, the 3-0 team will choose its opponent from among the three 2-1 teams for the upper bracket. The 0-3 team will be eliminated.

Among the trio of 1-2 teams, the one with the best game record will auto-advance as the fifth seed in the lower bracket. The remaining two teams will compete in the last-chance tiebreaker to claim the sixth and final seed in the playoffs.

The playoffs will be double-elimination, with all matches best-of-five. The overall winner qualifies for the 2026 First Stand Tournament.

On Sunday, FlyQuest beat Shopify Rebellion in 40 and 39 minutes, taking both maps on green. Johnson “Gryffinn” Le was named MVP with a 15/8/28 kill/death/assist ratio.

In the day’s other match, LYON also took both maps on blue, winning in 31 and 37 minutes to take down Dignitas. South Korea’s Kim “Berserker” Min-cheol was MVP of the first map, with Kacper “Inspired” Sloma of Poland getting the honor in the second. Berserker finished the day with a 12/4/10 KDA while Inspired posted a 12/1/17.

Four more matches take place next week: a pair of high matches (1-0 teams) and two more low matches (0-1 teams).
