FlyQuest advanced to the grand final of the League of Legends’ Championship of The Americas North 2025 Split 3 by beating Shopify Rebellion on Sunday in Los Angeles.
FlyQuest prevailed 3-1 in the upper-bracket final to move one win away of the title, which comes with an automatic berth into the World Championship that begins Oct. 14 in China.
Shopify Rebellion remain alive in the tournament but they fell to the lower-bracket final, where they will meet either Cloud9 or 100 Thieves.
Playoff matches are best-of-five. The top three teams will qualify for the LoL Championship of The Americas, scheduled for Sept. 13-28 in Allen, Texas.
FlyQuest opened with a 31-minute win on blue. Shopify Rebellion knotted it up by prevailing in 44 minutes on red.
That’s when FlyQuest pulled away, earning consecutive wins on blue in 27 and 34 minutes.
The leader for FlyQuest was Iraqi-Canadian bot laner Fahad “Massu” Abdulmalek, who totaled 19 kills over the four maps with eight deaths and 23 assists. Poland’s Kacper “Inspired” Sloma posted a 10-0-1 K-D-A ratio in the final map.
For Shopify Rebellion, Ju “Bvoy” Yeong-hoon of South Korea paced the team with 14 kills.
