G2 Minnesota halted FaZe Vegas’ winning streak and the Los Angeles Thieves took down OpTic Texas to close out Week 4 of Call of Duty League Stage 1 Major Qualifiers on Sunday.

Those results knocked Vegas and Texas down to 4-2, into a three-way tie with the Riyadh Falcons top the qualifying standings with one week to go. The Thieves are one of four teams a half-game behind that trio.

A group of 12 teams will play seven matches during qualifying, each win earning them 10 CDL points. While all 12 qualify for Major 1, Jan. 29-Feb. 1 in Dallas, the results will determine whether teams begin the major in the upper or lower bracket.

On Sunday, Minnesota rallied to beat Vegas 3-1 — absorbing a 250-193 loss on Blackheart Hardpoint and eking out wins of 6-5 on Raid Search and Destroy, 2-1 on Den Overload and 250-200 on Colossus Hardpoint. FaZe hadn’t lost since the opening day of qualifiers against the Thieves.

Speaking of Los Angeles, it also dropped its opening map Sunday, 250-216 to Texas on Exposure Hardpoint. Then the Thieves dominated OpTic 6-1 on Scar Search and Destroy and 5-1 on Exposure Overload before finishing things off with a 250-213 result on Scar Hardpoint.

In the other match of the day, the Boston Breach climbed out of a 2-0 hole to beat Cloud9 New York in five maps.

New York started with a 250-212 victory on Scar Hardpoint and a 6-4 result on Den Overload. Boston staved off elimination, 4-3 on Scar Overload, before flipping the momentum by taking Colossus Hardpoint 250-105 and Exposure Search and Destroy 6-0.

The fifth and final week of qualifying begins Friday with two matches:
–OpTic Texas vs. Carolina Royal Ravens
–Toronto KOI vs. Paris Gentle Mates
