G2 welcomed the return of Nemanja “nexa” Isakovic on Tuesday, a move made mere hours after he was released by OG.
nexa, 26, previously competed with G2 from September 2019 to January 2022. The Serbian replaced Australian rifler Justin “jks” Savage on the team’s Counter-Strike2 starting roster on Tuesday.
nexa took over the leadership role at OG in 2022.
“Starting a new chapter in my career as a rifler and grateful for the opportunity to do it alongside some of the best in the game,” nexa wrote on social media.
The current G2 roster consists of nexa, Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Nikola “NiKo” Kovac and Nemanja “huNter-” Kovac, Russian Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov, and Denmark’s Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen.
