Paris Gentle Mates, OpTic Texas and Cloud9 New York all clinched victories on the second day of Week 2 of Call of Duty League 2026: Stage 1 Major qualifiers Saturday.
Paris improved to 2-1 by sweeping Los Angeles Thieves 3-0, OpTic moved to 3-0 with a 3-2 victory over Miami Heretics and New York picked up its first win with a 3-0 sweep of Vancouver Surge.
A group of 12 teams will play seven matches during qualifying, each win earning them 10 CDL points. While all 12 qualify for Major 1, Jan. 29-Feb. 1 in Dallas, the results will determine whether teams begin the major in the upper or lower bracket.
On Saturday, Paris cruised over Los Angeles 250-116 on Den Hardpoint, 6-3 on Exposure Search and Destroy and 8-1 on Den Overload.
Texas opened with a 250-188 defeat to Miami on Exposure Hardpoint, but took a 2-1 lead with a 6-4 win on Scar Search and Destroy and a 4-3 victory on Scar Overload. Miami then squeaked out a 250-249 win on Den Hardpoint to pull even, but Texas pulled out a 6-4 victory on Raid Search and Destroy to stay undefeated.
New York had little trouble earning its first victory, sweeping Vancouver 250-240 on Scar Hardpoint, 6-4 on Den Search and Destroy and 3-2 on Scar Overload.
The qualifiers continue Sunday with three matches:

–Toronto KOI vs. FaZe Vegas
