Indervir “iLLeY” Dhaliwal, a member of the OpTic Texas Call of Duty roster, announced he is a free agent.
“Restricted F/A, bang my line if you want to win,” he tweeted late Wednesday.
iLLeY, a 21-year-old Canadian, won a world championship with the Dallas Empire in 2020. Following a November 2021 merger with OpTic Gaming, the team became OpTic Texas.
He joined the Empire in October 2019.
His departure comes after OpTic Texas finished in fourth place at the CDL Major II last week.
The team signed Call of Duty Challengers player Daniel “Ghosty” Rothe, 20, to replace iLLeY.
This is the second recent roster change for OpTic Texas, which lost veteran Seth “Scump” Abner to retirement last month.
Remaining roster members are Anthony “Shotzzy” Cuevas-Castro, Cuyler “Huke” Garland and Brandon “Dashy” Otell.
