PARIVISION recorded a 2-1 victory over BetBoom Team on Saturday to advance to the grand final at the ESL One Bangkok tournament in Thailand.
BetBoom Team jumped out to a fast start with a 38-minute win on red before PARIVISION responded with a flourish. PARIVISION posted 43- and 52-minute victories on green to advance to the best-of-five grand final on Sunday.
The winner of the $1 million Dota 2 tournament will take home $300,000.
BetBoom Team dropped to the lower-bracket final and on Sunday will face Team Liquid, who rallied to a 2-1 win over Team Spirit.
Spirit outlasted Liquid with a 59-minute win on green before the latter secured a 42-minute triumph on red and 33-minute victory on green.
Spirit advanced to that lower-bracket semifinal match with a 2-0 sweep of AVULUS. Spirit notched a 31-minute win on red and 33-minute victory on green.
