PARIVISION rallied for a 2-1 win over Team Spirit on Friday to reach the semifinals of the BLAST Bounty Winter at Attard, Malta.

In the day’s other match, Team Vitality swept GamerLegion 2-0.

The teams were reseeded after the quarterfinals, setting up Saturday semifinal matchups of FURIA vs. PARIVISION and Team Falcons vs. Team Vitality.

Eight teams began the $452,500 Counter-Strike: Global Offensive event, having advanced to the single-elimination bracket via closed qualifiers. The quarterfinals and semifinals are best-of-three, while the grand final on Sunday will be best-of-five.

Final payouts will be determined at the end of the tournament after $47,500 was awarded to each team in the closed qualifier. The championship squad also will pick up three BLAST Frequent Flyer Tokens, whereas all other participants will receive one.

On Friday, Team Spirit opened with a 13-5 win on Overpass before PARIVISION took the next two maps, 13-9 on Mirage and 13-8 on Ancient.

Emil “nota” Moskvitin paced all-Russian PARIVISION with 43 kills, while teammate Dzhami “Jame” Ali had a match-best plus-8 kill-death differential. Another Russian, Danil “donk” Kryshkovets led Team Spirit with 46 kills and an even K-D differential.

Team Vitality pushed past GamerLegion 13-9 on Inferno, 13-11 on Dust II. France’s Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut powered Team Vitality with 35 kills and a plus-6 K-D differential. Sweden’s Fredrik “REZ” Sterner logged 39 kills and a plus-13 K-D differential for GamerLegion.
