call of duty, esports

The Minnesota Rokkr overcame an early deficit with ease on Saturday, defeating the Miami Heretics 3-1 in qualifying action for the Call of Duty League’s Stage 2 Major.

Miami got off to a strong start with a 250-248 win on Skyline Hardpoint, but it was all Minnesota from there. The Rokkr responded with vengeance, taking Hacienda Search & Destroy 6-5, Protocol Control 3-0 and Vault Hardpoint 250-167 to complete the comeback.

Each of the 12 CDL teams will play seven qualifying matches through March 16, setting up seeding for the Stage 2 Major, slated for March 20-23 in Dallas.
