Twisted Minds overcame a 3-1 loss to Al Qadsiah in the upper-bracket final to defeat the same club 4-1 in the grand final at the Overwatch Champions Series 2025 World Finals on Sunday in Stockholm.
Ibrahem “Quartz” Alali of Saudi Arabia was named the MVP of the tournament for Twisted Minds, who got off to a fast start in the grand final with a 2-0 win on Nepal and a 2-1 victory on King’s Row. Al Qadsiah responded with a 3-0 triumph on New Junk City, however Twisted Minds posted a 3-0 win on Route 66 and 144.86-121.21 victory on Runasapi.
Al Qadsiah had a much easier time of it in the upper-bracket final, overcoming a 2-0 setback on Ilios by responding with a flourish. They notched 3-2 wins on King’s Row and Dorado and a 128.11-43.54 victory on New Queen Street.
Twisted Minds bounced back from that setback with a 3-1 triumph over Crazy Raccoon.
They got off to a fast start with a 2-0 win on Busan and 3-2 victory on Dorado. Crazy Raccoon responded with a 3-1 triumph on King’s Row, however Twisted Minds ended the match with a 137.48-47.03 win on Runasapi.
Twelve teams were competing for a crowd-funded prize pool at the double-elimination Overwatch 2 event.
