Jason “WildTurtle” Tran will return to the TSM starting lineup this week at the 2023 LCS Spring Split.
The League of Legends team announced Wednesday that the 28-year-old Canadian will replace Toan “Neo” Tran, who moved to the club’s academy roster.
TSM’s post on Twitter said the move is “for this week’s LCS matches,” so it remains to be seen what the long-term plan is.
WildTurtle was the starting AD Carry for TSM (formerly Team SoloMid) from 2013-17, winning numerous trophies before departing to join FlyQuest, CLG and Immortals.
TSM are 5-6 in the Spring Split entering the start of week six on Thursday.
The remainder of the lineup includes Colin “Solo” Earnest, Seong-yeop “Bugi” Lee, Huang “Maple” Yi-tang and Jonathan “Chime” Pomponio.
