No. 13 Miami has lost leading wide receiver Xavier Restrepo indefinitely due to a foot injury, the Miami Herald reported Thursday.
The report comes two days ahead of Miami’s road game at No. 24 Texas A&M.
Restrepo, a third-year sophomore, leads the Hurricanes in catches (11) and yards (172). He’s also hauled in a touchdown in two games.
The Herald reports the injury occurred Wednesday, one day after Restrepo practiced and spoke to reporters afterward.
Restrepo caught 24 passes for 373 yards and two touchdowns in 12 games in 2021.
