The New Orleans Saints signed veteran linebacker Demario Davis to a one-year extension through 2024, ESPN reported Friday.
Davis, 33, can earn an additional $18 million over the next three seasons under his revised deal, per the report.
Davis started 16 games and contributed 105 tackles and three sacks in his fourth season with the Saints (10th in the NFL) in 2021.
An All-Pro first-team selection in 2019, he has 1,027 tackles, 29.5 sacks, six fumble recoveries and two interceptions in 160 games (146 starts) with the New York Jets (2012-15, 2017), Cleveland Browns (2016) and Saints (2018-21).
Davis can earn $2 million in incentives in each of the next three seasons and will earn a $10 million salary and a $2 million roster bonus in 2024, per the report.
