No. 1 overall pick Trevor Lawrence signed his four-year deal with the Jaguars on Monday, officially beginning a new era in Jacksonville.
While the team didn’t announce financial terms, ESPN reported the deal is worth $36.8 million and includes $24.1 million in guaranteed money.
Lawrence was the first-ever No. 1 overall selection in Jaguars history.

In his college career, the 6-foot-6 Lawrence was 34-2 as a starter at Clemson and led the Tigers to the national championship as a freshman.
He completed 758 of 1,138 passes at Clemson for 10,098 yards, 90 touchdowns and 17 interceptions. He also ran for 943 yards and 18 TDs.
Lawrence is the only quarterback ever to win three Atlantic Coast Conference championship games.
The Jaguars still have three unsigned draft picks: Lawrence’s Clemson teammate, running back Travis Etienne Jr. (Round 1, No. 25), cornerback Tyson Campbell from Georgia (Round 2, No. 33), and Stanford offensive tackle Walker Little (Round 2, No. 45).
Training camp opens July 27 in Jacksonville. The Jaguars open the 2021 season behind Lawrence and new head coach Urban Meyer on Sept. 12 in Houston against the Texans. –Field Level Media (@FieldLevelMedia)
