Ashleigh Barty remains the betting favorite to win the Australian Open in her home country, but rising American Sofia Kenin has seen her odds shrink entering the quarterfinals.
Barty is being offered at +270 by FanDuel, followed by No. 4 Simona Halep (+390) and No. 4 Petra Kvitova (+410). Following her victory over American teenager Cori Gauff and upset losses by No. 2 Petra Kvitova and No. 5 Elena Svitlova, Kenin is now the fourth favorite at +950. Barty will play Kvitova in the quarterfinals, with the winner facing the winner of No. 14 Kenin and unseeded Ons Jabeur of Tunisia in the semifinals. Jabeur remains a +3000 longshot despite taking out Carolina Wozniacki and No. 27 Qiang Wang in the past two rounds.
Barty, Halep, Kvitova and No. 9 Kiki Bertens are the only top 10 seeds remaining in the women’s draw.
Kenin is a -210 favorite to beat Jabeur (+178) by FanDuel, while Barty is -134 to get past Kvitova (+114). DraftKings is offering Kenin at -235 and Jabeur at +185.
