The Baltimore Ravens are set to hire Willie Taggart as their running backs coach, NFL Network reported on Wednesday.
The reported move comes eight days after the Ravens named Todd Monken as their new offensive coordinator.
Monken, 57, helped Georgia win back-to-back national championships in that role the past two seasons.
Taggart, who has yet to coach in the NFL, previously served as Florida Atlantic’s head coach for three seasons before being fired on Nov. 26. He owned a 15-18 record with the Owls.
Taggart, 46, also held the head coaching position at Western Kentucky (2010-12), South Florida (2013-16), Oregon (2017) and Florida State (2018-19). He previously worked alongside Jim Harbaugh — the brother of Ravens head coach John Harbaugh — at Stanford from 2007-09.
