Rookie Quinshon Judkins rushed for a career-high three touchdowns, Tyson Campbell had a pick-six in his Cleveland home debut and the Browns hammered the slumping Miami Dolphins 31-6 on a rainy Sunday afternoon.

Cleveland (2-5) built a 17-6 halftime lead and broke its three-game losing streak by scoring three times off Miami turnovers.

Judkins, who rushed 25 times for 84 yards, tallied twice in the first half on a long sprint and a spinning run before another in the second half in his first multi-touchdown game.

Dillon Gabriel completed 13 of 18 passes for 116 yards. Rayshawn Jenkins had a fumble recovery and an interception. Ronnie Hickman also had a pick.

Tua Tagovailoa was 12-of-23 passing for 100 yards and three interceptions for the Dolphins (1-6), who have lost three straight. Reserve Quinn Ewers was 5-of-8 passing for 53 yards in his NFL debut.

De’Von Achane had 82 yards on 13 carries. Riley Patterson made both of his field-goal attempts.

Playing in a driving rainstorm, the Browns were aided by two Miami penalties and a 17-yard run by Judkins on their second series. Andre Szmyt’s 30-yard field goal ended the 57-yard drive at 2:17.

A 46-yard burst by Achane off the left side led to Patterson drilling a 33-yard kick on the third play of the second quarter.

Judkins gave the Browns another lead at 11:19 with an explosive jolt up the middle and raced 46 yards to the end zone.

On the ensuing kickoff, Cleveland’s Grant Delpit hacked the ball away from Dee Eskridge. Jenkins hopped on it at the Miami 46.

Judkins made it 17-3 after being hit then spinning his way to a 3-yard run at 6:03, lifting the Browns to their highest first-half point output of the season. Patterson’s 26-yard kick cut it to 17-6 at halftime.

On the initial scrimmage play of the second half, Campbell — in his second game after being acquired from the Jacksonville Jaguars — grabbed a deflected Tagovailoa pass and scampered off on a 34-yard score.

Jenkins’ interception at the Miami 11 led to Judkins’ third TD on a short run with 10:56 left in the game.
