Justin Monden led the Hawks (1-4) with 13 points off the bench, hitting all six of his shots from the field.

Creighton shot 49.3% from the field (33-of-67) and outrebounded its overmatched opponent 43-26.

The Bluejays also made 10 of the 33 three-point shots they took (30.3%), as opposed to the Hawks who only hit 2 of the 15 three-pointers they took.

The Hawks actually outshot the Bluejays 41.7% to 39.4% in the first half, but Creighton got off more shots (33 to 24), won the turnover battle 9-5 and outrebounded Eastern Shore 24-13.

Harper led the Bluejays with 10 points and six rebounds at the half, and Jackson McAndrew had eight points.

None of the Hawks reached double figures in the opening 20 minutes.

The Bluejays scored the first 12 points of the game and led 20-9 with 11:52 left in the half when Isaac Traudt nailed a three-pointer.

Creighton extended the lead to 30-16 when Harper hit a jumper with 4:27 left.

The Hawks managed to go on a 7-2 run and cut the lead to 32-23 when Monden hit a jumper and free throw to complete a three-point play with 1:45 remaining.

Harper hit a pair of free throws and Green hit one with five seconds left to make it 37-23 at the break.

The Bluejays extended the lead to 43-23 over the first four minutes of the second half, holding the Hawks scoreless.

Zion Obanla finally scored on a layup for Maryland Eastern Shore to stop the bleeding at 43-25.

Graves, however, scored a three-point play, and Green and Traudt hit three-pointers for a 52-27 Creighton lead with 13:52 left.

The Bluejays pushed that lead to 30 points with 7:48 left and to as many as 41 points with 42 seconds left thanks to a late 10-0 run.
