Rashaun Agee produced a game-high 21 points and 13 rebounds to lead Texas A&M to an 81-73 win over host Pitt Tuesday in the ACC/SEC Challenge.

Ruben Dominguez scored 18 points and Jacari Lane added 14 for the Aggies (7-2).

Barry Dunning Jr. led the Panthers (5-4) with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Cameron Corhen added 15 points and eight rebound and Nojus Indrusaitis contributed 15 points.

Pitt took its first lead by scoring the first four points of the second half – triggering what would turn out to be a topsy-turvy 20 minutes.

The Aggies responded by going on a 22-8 run to take a 57-45 lead on Dominguez’s 3-pointer with 11:55 to play.

Pittsburgh answered with 13 points in a row to seize a 61-57 lead with 6:23 to play.

The Aggies appeared to take complete control of the game after Pitt took the lead with a 19-8 run to lead 56-43.

Dominguez, however, followed with his fourth 3-pointer to spark a 13-0 run that gave the Panthers a 61-57 lead with 6:23 left. Damarco Minor sparked it with a pair of free throws and Indrusaitis capped the spree 4:26 later with a 3-pointer.

The Aggies came right back when Zach Clemence converted a 3-point play. When Jacari Lane drove for a layup and then made a steal and dished to Rylan Griffin for another layup, Texas A&M took a 64-63 lead it would not relinquish.

The Aggies led throughout the first half, but the Panthers would not go away.

Pop Isaacs gave Texas A&M a 14-5 lead with 14:05 left in the first half, but the Panthers went on an 8-0 run to cut it to one and keep it close the rest of the half.

Marcus Hill scored on a layup with 7:19 to go to give the Aggies a 26-20 lead.

Dunning took over from there, scoring a layup and then dunking off an Indrusaitis pass to cut the lead to 28-27 with 4:57 left in the half.

Agee and Dunning then started trading baskets as Agee dunked a Hill pass to get the Aggies lead back to 30-27. Dunning answered with his own dunk, then Agee followed with a layup on the way to a 35-33 halftime edge.
