Los Angeles Rams star wideout Davante Adams is sitting out a massive contest on Thursday night at the NFC West rival Seattle Seahawks with hamstring and knee injuries.
Adams aggravated a left hamstring injury during the fourth quarter of a 41-34 victory over the Detroit Lions on Sunday. He has 60 receptions for 789 yards and a league-high 14 touchdown catches in 14 games.
The six-time Pro Bowl selection is in his first season with the Rams — his fourth NFL team. Adams, who turns 33 on Christmas Eve, has 1,017 career catches for 12,633 yards and 117 touchdowns in 178 regular-season games (171 starts).
Defensive end Braden Fiske, who was questionable with an ankle injury and did not practice this week, was active for Los Angeles (11-3). There were no surprise inactives for Seattle (11-3), with only starting tackle Charles Cross (hamstring) ruled out before Thursday arrived.
