Danila Yurov scored twice and Quinn Hughes added four assists as the visiting Minnesota Wild topped the Anaheim Ducks 5-2 on Friday.

Yakov Trenin scored and added an assist while Kirill Kaprizov and Nico Sturm also tallied for the Wild, who improved to 3-0-1 on their season-high seven-game road trip.

Joel Eriksson Ek added a pair of helpers as Minnesota extended its point streak to five games (3-0-2).

Hughes matched the Wild record for points in a game by a defenseman and established a franchise record for assists in a game by a blueliner. Friday was Hughes’ fourth career four-assist game, matching his career high.

In 10 games since being acquired from the Vancouver Canucks, Hughes has 11 points (one goal, 10 assists).

Filip Gustavsson made 26 saves as Minnesota stretched its winning streak against Anaheim to seven games and improved to 20-1-0 in its past 21 games against the Ducks.

Beckett Sennecke and Troy Terry had the Anaheim goals. Lukas Dostal stopped 29 shots for the Ducks, who have lost a season-high five games (0-4-1).

The Wild scored a pair in the second period to carry a 3-1 lead into the third.

Minnesota went up 2-0 at 8:10 of the middle frame as Hughes’ point shot was tipped by Trenin before redirecting off Yurov’s skate and past Dostal.

Sennecke got the Ducks on the board at 13:46 of the second period, beating a screened Gustavsson with a shot from the top of the faceoff circle.

Minnesota restored its two-goal lead a minute later as Trenin one-timed a Hughes feed under Dostal’s arm.

Yurov made it 4-1 at 3:21 of the third period, redirecting a Hughes point shot past Dostal for his second of the game.

The Wild took a 5-1 lead as Sturm snapped a shot short side past Dostal at 15:02 of the third.

Terry got the game’s last tally, putting home a cross-ice feed from Mikael Granlund at 17:27 of the third.

Kaprizov opened the scoring on a power play at 5:39 of the first, banging home the loose puck past Dostal.
