Jamarques Lawrence scored a career-high 27 points and No. 10 Nebraska overcame a 16-point deficit in the second half to remain undefeated, beating Indiana 83-77 on Saturday afternoon in Bloomington, Ind.

The Cornhuskers (16-0, 5-0 Big Ten) extended their school-record win streak to 20 games by outscoring Indiana 50-28 over the final 17-plus minutes.

Lawrence was 8 of 13 from the field and made 5 of 8 from 3-point range for Nebraska, which was 14 of 34 from beyond the arc.

Rienk Mast scored 13 points, Pryce Sandfort had 12 and Braden Frager added all 11 of his points in the final six minutes for the Cornhuskers.

Lamar Wilkerson scored 32 points in a losing effort for Indiana (12-4, 3-2), which led 49-33 early in the second half.

The Hoosiers also received 17 points from Tucker DeVries, who had to sit for seven minutes in the second half during which his team was outscored by 12.

Indiana led 39-30 at halftime and upped it to 49-33 less than three minutes into the second half on a 4-point play by Wilkerson. But Nebraska finally found its stroke, going on a 13-0 run that began with three straight 3-pointers and then tied it at 55-55 on a Sandfort layup with 11:35 left.

Wilkerson drained a 3-pointer and then was fouled on another triple attempt, making all three free throws, for a 65-59 lead, only to see Nebraska hit back-to-back 3s to tie it again. A putback by Frager gave the Cornhuskers the lead with 5:59 left, their first since the five-minute mark of the first half.

Frager drained a 3-pointer to give Nebraska a 75-66 lead with 3:41 remaining, completing a 16-1 run, and Mast’s 3 iced it with 1:43 left.

Nebraska built a 14-7 lead and maintained the edge until Wilkerson’s 3-point play with 8:11 left in the first half. Lawrence followed with his third 3-pointer to get into double figures.

After starting 5 of 14, Indiana made 10 of 12 shots down the stretch to build the 9-point halftime lead.
