Donovan Mitchell had 33 points and eight assists, and Evan Mobley collected a season-high-tying 29 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists as the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the visiting Sacramento Kings 123-118 on Friday night.
Jaylon Tyson added 17 points and Jarrett Allen had 15 points and nine rebounds for Cleveland, which has won nine of its last 13 games. Reigning Defensive Player of the Year Mobley also blocked four shots.
Domantas Sabonis paced the Kings with 24 points, 16 rebounds and six assists in 31 minutes off the bench. The three-time All-Star center played his fourth game since missing two months with a torn left meniscus.
Dennis Schroder scored 21 points and DeMar DeRozan had 20 points for Sacramento, which has lost four straight and is 3-18 on the road. The Kings began a six-game trip that runs through Feb. 1.
Sacramento took a 114-113 lead on a basket by Dylan Cardwell, but Mitchell answered with five points to put the Cavaliers ahead for good at 118-114 with 2:27 remaining.
The Kings subsequently missed six straight field-goal attempts, allowing Cleveland to ice the win with two free throws apiece from Allen and Tyson.
Mitchell had nine points in the third and Mobley added eight as Cleveland reclaimed control 102-93. Westbrook scored six and DeRozan had five points for the Kings.
There were 15 lead changes and seven ties in the first half, which ended with Sacramento in front 71-68. Schroder scored 17 points in 14 minutes and Sabonis had 14 points before intermission, while Mobley racked up 19 points and Mitchell had 18.
The Cavaliers leaped ahead 16-2, prompting Kings coach Doug Christie to call two timeouts in the first 2 1/2 minutes and sub out all five starters. It triggered a 31-15 run that included 12 points from Schroder and seven points, five rebounds and five assists by Sabonis.
Cleveland point guard Darius Garland (right big toe sprain) will be out until at least early February, while sharpshooter Sam Merrill (right hand sprain) was inactive for the fourth consecutive contest.
Kings power forward Keegan Murray (left ankle sprain) missed his 10th game in a row.
