Obi Agbim and Cameron Carr both scored 16 points to lead Baylor to a 63-53 Big 12 win over West Virginia on Saturday in Morgantown, W.Va.

Agbim hit a pair of 3-pointers in the final 3:37 as the Bears (12-9, 2-7 Big 12) snapped a four-game losing streak.

Brenen Lorient led the Mountaineers (14-8, 5-4) with 19 points.

Honor Huff, West Virginia’s leading scorer with 16.3 points per game, was held to five points on 1-of-13 shooting.

The Mountaineers shot 36% from the field and 5 of 19 from 3-point range.

Baylor made 45.5% of its shots and hit 9 of 22 from behind the arc.

The Bears led 49-44 with 9:02 left when the teams went nearly five minutes without scoring.

Tounde Yessoufou finally scored for Baylor with 4:19 left to make it 51-44. The jumper was the first basket by the Bears in 14 shots.

Luckily for the Bears, the Mountaineers were worse with four turnovers in a scoreless drought of more than seven-plus minutes.

The Bears shot 55.6% (15-of-27) in the first half, including 7-of-13 on 3-pointers, to build a pair of 10-point leads.

Agbim scored eight points in the first 5:15 to spark the first double-digit lead.

Agbim hit a 17-footer with 14:45 left to make it 15-5, as the Mountaineers again struggled early to score.

Treysen Eaglestaff, however, hit a 3-pointer to start a 15-2 West Virginia run that would put the Mountaineers on top.

Huff hit a 3-pointer in the streak and Eaglestaff finished it with a pair of 3-pointers for a 20-17 lead with 8:09 left.

The Bears were scoreless for more than five minutes during the West Virginia comeback and had five of their nine first-half turnovers.

Baylor started hitting its shots again and steadily built another 10-point lead.

A four-point play by Carr with 6:07 left gave the Bears the lead back for good in the first half at 25-22.

Dan Skillings Jr. started a 7-0 run with a 3-pointer with 6;17 left.

Carr then drove past two defenders for a dunk and Yessoufou followed with a layup for a 32-24 lead with 3:26 left.

Lorient ended three scoreless minutes for the Mountaineers with a dunk.

Lorient kept West Virginia in it down the stretch before halftime as he scored all six of the Mountaineers points.

West Virginia shot just 40.9% (9-of-22) from the field in the first half.
