Vitality, The MongolZ, MOUZ, PARAVISION in semis of PGL Cluj-Napoca playoffs

Team Vitality, The MongolZ, MOUZ and PARAVISION won their single-elimination quarterfinal matches on Friday in the PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026 playoffs Friday in Romania.

The $625,000 Counter-Strike 2 tournament began Feb. 14 with 16 teams and concludes Sunday with the winning team taking home a top prize of $225,000. All matches are best-of-three until the best-of-five grand final.

Team Vitality swept Aurora Gaming with a 13-8 win on Inferno and a 13-10 victory on Overpass. France’s Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut paced Vitality with 44 kills and a plus-24 kill-death differential. Ismailcan “XANTARES” Dortkardes led all-Turkish Aurora with 30 kills and an even K-D differential.

The MongolZ opened with a 13-3 triumph on Mirage before FURIA pulled even with a 13-10 win on Dust II. The MongolZ rebounded with a 13-10 victory on Nuke to advance. Usukhbayar “910” Banzragch amassed 50 kills and a plus-15 K-D differential for the all-Mongolian MongolZ. Brazil’s Yuri “yuurih” Santos wound up with 41 kills and a minus-1 K-D differential.

MOUZ dropped their opener against Natus Vincere 13-10 on Ancient but bounced back with wins on Inferno (13-4) and Mirage (13-6). Hungary’s Adam “torzsi” Torzsas led MOUZ with 53 kills and a plus-20 K-D differential. Ukraine’s Ihor “w0nderful” Zhdanov produced 44 kills and a plus-1 K-D differential for Natus Vincere.

PARAVISION prevailed 16-14 in overtime to open the match against Team Falcons, who evened the score with a 13-7 win on Mirage. PARAVISION then secured the victory, earning a 13-8 win on Ancient. Ivan “zweih” Gogin totaled 47 kills and a plus-3 K-D differential for all-Russian PARIVISION. Another Russian, Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov guided Team Falcons with 59 kills and a plus-19 K-D differential.
