Caitlin Clark had two famous guest caddies as she teed it up alongside major champion Nelly Korda for her pro-am round at The Annika by Gainbridge on Wednesday.

Indiana Fever teammates Lexie Hull and Sophie Cunningham came out to support the WNBA star, who participated in the event for the second consecutive year. Clark’s round was again broadcast live by the Golf Channel, bringing increased attention to two of women’s sports biggest stars playing nine holes together at the Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Fla.

“I think it just shows how powerful supporting one another can truly be,” Clark said during her round with Korda, a 15-time winner on the LPGA Tour who is currently ranked second in the world. “I’ve always been a big advocate of that and supporting women’s sports. Always been a big fan, whether it’s golf or soccer or volleyball, whatever it is.

“It’s really fun to see her do her craft up close and how good she is. She just makes the game of golf look really easy. You’re almost like, how? But she’s great and I’m rooting for her to win.”

Following the pro-am group that included former Northwestern star Lauryn Nguyen was a throng of spectators that saw numerous young girls donning Fever jerseys and signs supporting Clark.

“It’s so cool to see how many people she brings to a different sport, how many fans she has … and how many of a needle she moves really,” Korda said.

“It’s really cool to see and just a lot of appreciation for her for coming out here and also supporting us.”

Clark admitted it was “nerve-wracking” to swing a golf club in front of so many people. She also has not been able to play as much golf as she normally would while recovering from injuries that limited her to only 13 games during the 2025 WNBA season.

Clark did say that she feels 100% physically and tried to work on her golf game a bit in Indianapolis before making the trip down to Florida. She was hoping to drain a long putt to get a celebration from the fans following the group.

“Obviously we’re basketball players, so not very good at this,” she said. “But it’s always cool to be out here. Any time you get to be out in the sun and in Florida and in front of really cool fans, it makes for a great day.”
