Inbee Park announces second pregnancy

Seven-time LPGA Tour major champion Inbee Park is expecting her second child.

Park made the announcement on Friday, her birthday.

“Thank you all for congratulating my 36th b-day!” Park posted to social media. “I want to share good news today with you all. We are expecting to become family of 4 this year! We are very delighted to welcome our new baby. Thank you all for the support and love.”

Park, a Hall of Fame member with 21 LPGA Tour wins, gave birth to daughter Inseo Nam on April 2, 2023.

She last played on the tour at the 2022 AIG Women’s Open in August of that year, where she finished tied for 22nd place.

In her career, she also has 97 other top-10 finishes and earnings of more than $18 million. The South Korean won the gold at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio.

She was inducted into the LPGA Hall of Fame in 2016 as the youngest player ever to qualify.

Park first reached No. 1 in the rankings in April 2013 and held the spot 106 times.
