Both South Koreans come to the OWL from the South Korean Contenders team RunAway.
The 18-year-old Yaki has also competed for XL2 Academy and MVP Space since entering the scene in 2016.
“I’m glad to join Mayhem this season,” Yaki tweeted Wednesday. “I won’t let down our fans.”
Gangnamjin, 21, is also from South Korea, and teamed with Yaki to help RunAway win a Contenders Major in September, followed by a runner-up and third-place finish over the past two months.
“This is my first time joining the league and I’m ready to make good results this season,” Gangnamjin tweeted. “Thank you for the fans that have always supported me!”
