Atlanta Braves greats Chipper Jones and Marquis Grissom were named managers for the 2025 All-Star Futures Game on Monday.
The Hall of Famer Jones will manage the National League minor leaguers and will be opposed by two-time All-Star Grissom on the American League side. The seven-inning game will be played on July 12 in Atlanta.
Joining Jones as coaches will be former Braves Mark DeRosa (bench coach), Andruw Jones (hitting coach) and Tim Hudson (pitching coach), among others.
Grissom’s coaches include Jerry Manuel (bench coach), Fred McGriff (hitting coach) and Dale Murphy (first base coach).
The 26th edition of the Futures Game features the top minor league prospects competing as part of All-Star Saturday. The format was changed in 2019 to be NL vs. AL after 20 years of U.S. vs. World matchups.
The All-Star Game will be played on July 15 in Atlanta.
