MLB sets World Series game times

The World Series will begin Friday in Arlington, Texas, with the first pitch of Game 1 set for 8:03 p.m. ET.

Major League Baseball announced the broadcast schedule on Tuesday, and all games will start at that time.

Game 2 will be played Saturday at the home of the Texas Rangers, who will meet the winner of the National League Championship Series. Tuesday’s Game 7 in that series will determine whether the Rangers will play the Philadelphia Phillies or Arizona Diamondbacks.

The Rangers defeated the Houston Astros 11-4 in Game 7 of the American League Championship Series on Monday.

All World Series games will be aired by FOX Sports and broadcast by ESPN Radio. FOX Deportes has the Spanish-language coverage.

Games 3 and 4 will be played in the National League city on Monday and Tuesday. Game 5, if necessary, will come Wednesday at that same venue.

If necessary. Games 6 and 7 will follow in Arlington on Nov. 3 and 4, respectively.
