The Washington Nationals’ game against the Colorado Rockies on Friday has been postponed due to inclement weather in the Denver area.
The game has been rescheduled as part of a split-doubleheader on Sunday.
The Rockies, with a new hitting coach on the bench, will attempt to snap a six-game losing streak when they open their three-game series against the Nationals on Saturday.
Hensley Meulens was fired on Thursday as the team’s former manager, Clint Hurdle, takes over as the Rockies’ hitting coach.
