The Baltimore Orioles activated right-hander Zach Eflin from the injured list to start in Sunday’s series finale against the Los Angeles Angels.
The Orioles optioned right-hander Colin Selby to Triple-A Norfolk. They also activated left-hander Trevor Rogers from the injured list and optioned him to the Triple-A club.
Eflin, 31, was Baltimore’s Opening Day starter and went 2-1 with a 3.00 ERA in just three starts before going on the injured list with a lat strain following an April 7 outing at Arizona.
He is 64-63 with a 4.15 ERA in 189 appearances (177 starts) for the Philadelphia Phillies (2016-22), Tampa Bay Rays (2023-24) and Orioles.
Selby, 27, had a 4.92 ERA in three relief appearances with the Orioles. He did not allow a run in 1 2/3 innings Saturday against the Angels.
Rogers, 27, has not pitched for the Orioles this season following a knee injury during the offseason.
In five seasons with the Miami Marlins (2020-24) and Orioles, he is 15-34 with a 4.36 ERA in 84 starts.
