The Philadelphia Phillies reinstated outfielder Austin Hays from the 10-day injured list on Friday.
Hays, 29, acquired in a trade with Baltimore on July 26, landed on the shelf on Aug. 9 with a left hamstring strain.
Hays is batting .256 with four homers and 18 RBIs in 73 games with the Orioles and Phillies this season.
Philadelphia optioned outfielder Cal Stevenson to Triple-A Lehigh Valley to make room on the 26-man roster.
Stevenson, 27, batted .200 (2-for-10) with two walks and one RBI in seven games with the Phillies.
