Nathan Eovaldi pitched seven strong innings and the Texas Rangers clubbed four home runs Sunday afternoon in a 10-4 victory over the host Toronto Blue Jays.

Eovaldi (11-3) allowed two runs, five hits and no walks while striking out six to help the Rangers avoid a sweep in the three-game series.

Marcus Semien, Wyatt Langford and Evan Carter hit two-run home runs and Corey Seager hit a solo shot for the Rangers. Semien had three hits and a walk. Jonah Heim added three hits and two RBIs.

George Springer struck a two-run homer and Alejandro Kirk and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. contributed solo shots for Toronto.

Texas scored twice in the second inning against Jose Berrios (9-5).

Rowdy Tellez dumped a single into left. With one out, Semien pounded a 1-0 slurve to left for his second homer of the series. Both homers came after he was hit on the hand by a pitch on Friday. The swelling forced him to miss the Saturday game. The RBIs gave him 800 for his career.

Kirk launched a first-pitch slider to left center with one out in the home second for his second homer in the series.

Texas added three in the fourth to take a 5-1 lead. Semien doubled to right with two out and scored when Jake Burger shot a single to right. Cody Freeman, promoted from Triple-A Round Rock with Sam Haggerty (ankle) put on the injured list, doubled to center. Heim grounded a two-run single up the middle. Josh Smith singled off the wall in right but was out trying for a double.

Seager homered to left with one out in the fifth and Mason Fluharty replaced Berrios, who allowed six runs, 10 hits and no walks with two strikeouts.

Texas scored twice in the sixth against Braydon Fisher.

Heim singled and was forced at second on Smith’s grounder before Langford lofted a two-out homer down the left-field line.

Guerrero homered to left center on a first-pitch splitter with two out in the bottom of the inning.

Hoby Milner replaced Eovaldi in the eighth and allowed a bloop single and Springer’s homer to left center.

Toronto’s Louis Varland allowed Seager’s double and Carter’s homer in the ninth.

Shawn Armstrong pitched 1 1/3 innings to earn his fourth save.
