The Seattle Mariners and right-hander Logan Gilbert agreed to a one-year, $4.05 million deal to avoid arbitration, MLB Network reported Thursday.
Gilbert, 26, posted his second straight 13-win season in 2023 and struck out a career-high 189 batters in 32 starts.
He is 32-18 with a 3.76 ERA in 88 games (all starts) over three seasons with the Mariners, who drafted him in the first round (14th overall) in 2018.
Gilbert will not be eligible for free agency until 2028.
