The Seattle Mariners acquired infielder Luis Urias from the Boston Red Sox on Friday in exchange for right-hander Isaiah Campbell, multiple outlets reported.
Urias, 26, batted .194 with three home runs and 18 RBIs in 52 combined games with the Milwaukee Brewers and Boston Red Sox last season. He was traded by the Brewers on Aug. 1.
In 445 career games over six seasons, Urias is a .234 hitter with 48 home runs and 180 RBIs for the San Diego Padres (2018-19), Brewers (2020-23) and Red Sox.
Campbell, 26, made his major league debut this past season and went 4-1 with a 2.83 ERA in 27 relief appearances for the Mariners.
