Free agent right-hander Julio Teheran is signing with the Baltimore Orioles, multiple outlets reported Tuesday.
The 33-year-old veteran, who spent time with the Orioles in spring training, agreed to a minor league deal.
A two-time All-Star, Teheran could help Baltimore to replace injured starters Tyler Wells and John Means.
Teheran made one start this season for the New York Mets on April 8 against the Atlanta Braves and allowed four runs on six hits in 2 2/3 innings in an 8-7 game won by the Mets.
He is 81-82 with a 3.85 ERA in 255 career games (248 starts) over 13 seasons with the Braves (2011-19), Los Angeles Angels (2020), Detroit Tigers (2021), Milwaukee Brewers (2023) and Mets.
