Clayton Kershaw went seven scoreless innings and Shohei Ohtani hit a pair of home runs as the Los Angeles Dodgers rolled to an 11-5 victory over the visiting San Francisco Giants on Saturday.

Teoscar Hernandez added a homer and Mookie Betts had a two-run double as the Dodgers evened their first series of the season vs. their longtime rival at a game each.

In his 61st career appearance against the Giants, and 59th start, Kershaw (2-0) allowed three hits with one walk. His five strikeouts moved him 12 away from becoming the 20th pitcher and fourth left-hander with 3,000.

Giants right-hander Landen Roupp (4-5) was roughed up for six runs on four hits in 1 2/3 innings, with a career-high five walks. It was the shortest start of his two-year career.

Casey Schmitt hit a grand slam against position player Enrique Hernandez in the ninth inning as San Francisco lost for just the second time in its past 10 games. It was Schmitt’s second grand slam in as many games.

Ohtani got the Dodgers going with a home run on Roupp’s fourth pitch of the game. It was his first since June 2 and his first at home since hitting two against the New York Yankees on May 30.

Los Angeles was just getting started. They knocked Roupp from the game with a five-run second inning. Andy Pages had an RBI single and Michael Conforto followed with a run-scoring double. Two batters later, Betts hit a two-run double for a 5-0 lead, and Will Smith added a sacrifice fly to make it 6-0.

Hyeseong Kim got into the act for the Dodgers in the third inning with an RBI single that landed in front of center fielder Jung Hoo Lee, his former Kiwoom Heroes teammate in South Korea.

Ohtani’s second home run of the game came in the sixth inning off right-hander Tristan Beck for an 8-0 lead, and Teoscar Hernandez added a two-run homer for a 10-0 advantage. It was Ohtani’s third multi-homer game of the season and the 22nd of his career.

With San Francisco catcher Logan Porter on the mound, Miguel Rojas hit a home run for Los Angeles in the eighth inning.

Enrique Hernandez gave up five runs (four earned) in two thirds of an inning for the Dodgers before left-hander Anthony Banda recorded the final out.
