The Minnesota Twins claimed right-hander Dennis Santana off waivers from the Atlanta Braves on Sunday.
Santana, 26, went 3-8 with a 5.22 ERA in 63 appearances (one start) for the Texas Rangers last season.
Over 134 career appearances in five seasons, Santana is 7-14 with a 5.12 ERA with the Los Angeles Dodgers (2018-21) and Rangers.
To make room on the 40-man roster, the Twins moved infielder/outfielder Royce Lewis to the 60-day injured list after undergoing ACL surgery last year.
