Austin FC acquired midfielder Robert Taylor from Inter Miami CF on Wednesday night.
Inter Miami will receive up to $750,000 in general allocation money in exchange for the Finnish international.
Taylor, 30, had 18 goals and 18 assists in 116 matches in all competitions for Miami since his 2022 MLS debut.
He helped the Herons win the Leagues Cup in 2023 and the Supporters’ Shield in 2024.
Inter Miami will receive $450,000 in 2025, $250,000 in 2026 and $50,000 in conditional GAM in 2027.
