Austin FC agreed to a two-year contract extension with Colombian forward Jader Obrian.
The deal, announced Monday, runs through the 2026 season and includes an option for 2027.
Obrian, 29, recorded seven goals and four assists in 34 MLS matches (30 starts) in his first season with Austin.
“Throughout the season, Jader has shown a significant level of consistency and commitment both on a daily basis in the training ground as well as on his performances during games,” sporting director Rodolfo Borrell said.
Obrian tallied 17 goals and 13 assists in 94 matches with FC Dallas from 2021-23 before going to Austin in the MLS Re-Entry Draft Stage 1 last December.
