CF Montreal acquired goalkeeper Sebastian Breza and defender Joaquin Sosa from Bologna FC, the team announced Monday.
The Quebec-born Breza returns to Montreal via permanent transfer, signing a two-year deal with options in 2026 and 2027.
Breza, 25, played with Montreal from 2021-22 and registered five clean sheets in 31 appearances.
Sosa, 22, arrives on loan from Bologna for the 2024 season. Terms of the deals were not disclosed.
He began his career with Nacional in his native Uruguay in 2021 before moving to Bologna in 2022 and spending 2023 on loan at Croatia’s Dinamo Zagreb.
