CF Montreal acquired midfielder Caden Clark from Minnesota United FC on Thursday.
Minnesota received $50,000 in 2024 general allocation money and Montreal’s 2025 second-round draft pick in exchange.
In addition, Minnesota could receive up to $100,000 in conditional GAM if Clark reaches certain performance levels. Minnesota also retains a future sell-on percentage if Clark is transferred out of MLS.
Clark, 21, recorded one assist in 23 MLS matches (11 starts) this season. He had seven goals and seven assists in 47 matches (23 starts) with the New York Red Bulls from 2020-22.
